Been looking at Sattva Lake Ridge for a while now. They promise full flat power backup, but kya ye sach mein hota hai? My current society mein bahut problem hai power cuts ka, kids ke liye safety issue lagta hai. Aur water supply, is it reliable ya tanker pe depend karna padta hai? Real experiences batao please.

My experience with a different builder, not Sattva, but in a similar price bracket, was terrible with water. They had borewell water which was so hard, it ruined all our appliances. We had to install an expensive softener. And then, the borewell dried up! Suddenly, everyone was dependent on tankers and the society maintenance shot up. For Sattva Lake Ridge, with its scale, you need to be very sure about the water source and quality. Don't just trust verbal assurances.
Haan, power backup is a big concern. But what about the water supply in Sattva Lake Ridge? The post mentioned it. Is it municipal water or do they rely heavily on borewells and tankers? Water scarcity is a real problem in many areas, especially during summers. Any residents or people who visited the site can shed some light?
Totally agree with the water point. Is there any mention of rainwater harvesting?
Water supply is a huge red flag for me. I almost booked a flat in another project where they promised 24/7 municipal water, but later found out it was only for two hours a day, and the rest was tanker water, which was an extra charge! Always read the fine print. These builders are masters at hiding such costs. Sattva Lake Ridge's 897 units will need a lot of water.
From what I gathered during my site visit a few months back, they said it's a mix of municipal and borewell. But you know how it is, municipal supply can be erratic. Projects in areas like Alwal often face this. Tanker dependency seems high in many upcoming projects. Did you ask about the water treatment plant capacity?
Yaar, I totally agree with the post title. Full power backup is always a pipe dream in these new projects. My cousin booked in Attapur, they promised 24/7 backup but it barely runs for an hour during load shedding. Kids ke liye safety issue toh hai hi, especially with lifts getting stuck. Is Sattva Lake Ridge any different, ya same old story?
Same pinch, bhai. My society has horrible power cuts.
Exactly! My friend lives in a 'premium' project near Banjara Hills, and unka bhi yahi haal hai. Generator chalaate hain bas minimum load pe, AC toh bhool hi jao. Plus, the maintenance charges skyrocket because of fuel costs. Sattva Lake Ridge ka possession 2028 hai, right? Tab tak toh aur rules change ho jayenge, aur issues aayenge. Better to verify everything in the sale agreement.
Sahi keh rahe ho. I've heard similar stories about Sattva's other projects too. They promise the moon, but ground reality is very different. Power backup is usually for common areas and a few points in the flat, not full load. Don't fall for the marketing hype.
