Gaursons 4th Avenue: Security systems beyond the brochure
Did a site visit to Gaursons 4th Avenue this weekend for a 3BHK. My wife's priority is kids' safety, so we focused on security. The sales team showed CCTVs and visitor management apps. But how good are the guards really? Are the systems actually effective, or just for show? Worried about actual implementation for children's safety.

Totally agree with U1's concern. My friend lives in a Gaur project near Alpha II Greater Noida. The CCTVs are there, but half the time they don't work, aur guard toh bas phone pe laga rehta hai. Kids' safety ke liye you need active patrolling, not just cameras. Yeh visitor apps bhi initially achhe lagte hain, but maintenance is key.
U3, that's why it's crucial to talk to existing residents, not just the sales team. They will tell you the real picture of security, maintenance, and RWA effectiveness. Sales wale
Sahi baat hai, U3. Mere ek relative ka bhi similar experience hai in Alpha I Greater Noida. Yeh toh common ho gaya hai.
Bhai, Gaursons... security toh marketing ka part hoti hai zyada. Actual ground reality kuch aur hoti hai. Especially for a project delivered in 2014, systems might be old or poorly maintained. Have heard similar things about other completed projects too.

U1, we visited last year. The guards seemed okay, but they are mostly contract-based. Turnover is high. That's a major red flag for consistent security, especially for kids who need familiarity and vigilance from staff. Have you checked their RWA's annual reports?
Exactly my thought! Brochure mein sab high-tech lagta hai, but real mein kya hai?
