Spent the whole weekend checking out options in Ghaziabad, mostly around Shalimar Garden. Honestly, it's so confusing for a first-time buyer. Parents keep saying go for resale, but new launches sometimes look tempting with all the amenities. Visited a project by Ishaan Group, acha laga, but then I started thinking about all the extra costs. I had no idea stamp duty, registration, and interiors would add so much to the budget. Builder quotes one price, phir pata chalta hai ki 15-20% extra to upar se lag jayega. How do you even shortlist properties properly? Matlab, what's a good way to compare total cost between resale and new? Any advice on what to look for beyond the quoted price? Ab samajh nahi aa raha kaha se shuru karoon.
