posted on 6 MayGhaziabad infra promises are total eyewash
Just got possession of my 3BHK in Raj Nagar Extension in March, and honestly, I'm already regretting it. The builder kept hyping the Delhi-Meerut Expressway completion for seamless connectivity. But things aren't moving fast enough. My commute to Delhi is still a nightmare; traffic's insane. They promised great ROI, total eyewash. My EMI is hitting hard now. Is anyone else feeling this? Are these Ghaziabad infra projects like the Metro extension really finishing on time, or is it just builder talk to push sales? What did you do about such misleading claims?

What about projects near Abhay Khand? I'm looking there, are the infra promises there also just talk?
U6, Abhay Khand mein bhi situation kuch khaas alag nahi hai. Connectivity to Delhi is still a pain. The internal roads are better
I'm facing the same dilemma. I booked a flat in Ahinsa Khand II two years ago, thinking the Metro extension would be done by now. Builder ne toh bola tha 2024 tak Vaishali se extension ho jaayega, but abhi tak toh kuch khaas progress dikh nahi rahi. My current rent is eating into my savings, and now this property is also stuck. Did your builder give any specific RERA possession date for the infra? Or was it just verbal assurances?
Same here, U3! Mera bhi Ahinsa Khand 1 mein hai. Builder sirf 'soon' bolta rehta hai Metro ke liye. Bahut frustration hoti hai.
U3, mere case mein toh just verbal assurances hi the. Builder ne bola tha 'Government project hai, ho hi jaayega'. Abhi RERA site pe bhi kuch clear nahi hai regarding the Metro extension timelines. My builder's RERA ID is P521000xxxx, for my project, the possession date was March 2024, which they met, but the infra around it is lagging.
Honestly, I never trusted those Ghaziabad infra promises blindly. Metro extension ki baat toh saalon se chal rahi hai. Remember how they hyped the FNG Expressway too? Most of these projects have RERA deadlines but delays are standard. People should always factor in at least a 2-3 year delay on announced infrastructure, especially the big ones. It's a common sales tactic to push properties in developing areas.
Totally feel you, bhai! Raj Nagar Extension sounds good on paper but ground reality is something else. My friend booked in Crossings Republik and has similar issues with connectivity promises. Builders just paint a rosy picture till you sign the dotted line. EMI ka pressure toh alag hi hai.
