Ghaziabad projects: Are amenities just a marketing gimmick?
Loan finally approved, but choosing a project in Ghaziabad is giving me serious headaches. Yaar, everyone talks about these fancy amenities builders promise, especially in places like Arocon Golf Ville. Honestly, is anyone actually *using* those huge clubhouses ya swimming pools? Or are they just for brochure photos? I'm seeing so many projects where the maintenance charges are sky-high, but the facilities are either broken, badly kept, or just empty. Specifically Ghaziabad mein, what's the ground reality? Should I really pay extra EMI for a gym that's always empty or a pool jo kabhi saaf hi nahi hota? My parents keep saying 'amenities pe mat jao, basic cheezein dekho'. I feel like it's a huge waste. Change my mind, please. Is it just me, or are these amenities mostly a marketing gimmick?

Bhai, this is so true! I almost booked a flat in a project near Indirapuram, thinking about the amenities. But a resident told me the pool is closed half the year for 'maintenance' and the gym equipment is old and often out of order. Totally agree with this! My parents say the same thing. Amenities sound great on paper, but usage is another story. Same doubt for Ghaziabad.
