Golf Course Road infra: What it did to family home prices

Golf Course Road — this area keeps coming up for our 3BHK search. My wife really wants something safe for the children, good schools nearby. We're upgrading for the kids' school admission next year. Pehle, GCR kaafi expensive lagta tha, but abhi recent metro extension aur road widening ke baad prices ka kya scene hai? Especially DLF Phase 5 mein. Kaunse pockets zyada benefit hue hain family point of view se? Matlab, is it worth the premium now for better connectivity, ya sirf traffic badha hai? Any real ground-level experience?
