Is construction-linked payment plan always a trap for first-time buyers? Sab bolte hain ki it's safer, but if builder like Swastik Developers in Sector 18 Greater Noida gets delayed, meri EMI aur rent dono ka burden kaise manage hoga? Down payment scheme better nahi hai kya for fixed costs? Change my mind.

Totally agree with your dilemma, bhai. I'm also looking in Sector 18, near Alpha I, and the fear of builder delays is real. How do people even manage both EMI and rent for years?
You hit the nail on the head. My friend bought a flat in Greater Noida West a few years back, and his builder delayed by almost 3 years. He was stuck paying EMI for a non-existent flat and full rent. He tried to get compensation, but the RERA process is also quite slow.
