Greater Noida first-timers, what's your take on resale?

I'm convinced resale properties are way safer for first-time buyers in Greater Noida. Everyone glorifies new launches, but nobody talks about the insane under-construction delivery risks. My parents keep saying just buy ready-to-move. Is the premium for resale really worth avoiding all that stress? Change my mind.
