Greater Noida's hidden stamp duty shocker

Just got possession of my 2BHK in Sector 26 last month, from Lotus Group. Honestly, final registration aur stamp duty ka bill dekh ke I was shocked. Builder ne sales ke time all-inclusive bola tha, but phir bhi itne extra charges lag gaye. My ₹80L ka flat ended up costing almost ₹85L with everything. Yeh stamp duty percentage kitna realistic hota hai? Was it possible to negotiate this part? Yaar, did anyone else face this high stamp duty shock in Greater Noida?

Oh no! Same fear for me. I’m looking at properties in Alpha II, and builders always say 'all-inclusive' but then these hidden costs pop up. What was the actual percentage you ended up paying for stamp duty and registration? It makes me so nervous.

Yaar, UP mein stamp duty is typically 7% for men and 6% for women, plus registration charges are 1%. So for an 80L property, it's easily 6-7 lakh. Builders usually
