Builders inflating super area is such a rip-off, yaar. I'm looking for a 3BHK in Gurgaon, near Sector 44 for my kids' school. My budget is around ₹2.5 Cr. Visited a Signature Global project; their quoted super area was huge, but carpet area was 30% less. This feels like a hidden charge, paying for non-existent space. My wife's priority is usable space for the children, and this difference makes comparing projects tough. How do you guys measure value? Is this super area vs carpet area trap common in Gurgaon? Can we negotiate this, ya fir it's just builder's way of charging more? It's frustrating finding something safe for the family with these misleading numbers.
