Gurgaon builder delay: Options for frustrated parents

Honestly, I'm so fed up with this builder delay situation, it's messing with our whole family plan. We booked a 3BHK in Sector 82 for the kids' school admission cycle next year, from Anant Raj Group. They promised possession by Diwali, now they're saying next year end. Matlab, ye kya chal raha hai? Builder-buyer agreement mein penalties toh hain, but I'm hearing RERA bhi utna effective nahi hai. Kya karein? Should we wait? Can we actually push for compensation? My wife is worried about the kids' school commute agar yahan shift nahi kar paaye. Has anyone actually got their compensation through RERA in Gurgaon, ya bas paperwork hai?
