Gurgaon builder discounts: Real or just talk?
Everyone talks about the rising prices along Dwarka Expressway, but nobody ever properly discusses how much builders actually budge on price in Gurgaon. I'm so fed up of renting, doing the EMI vs rent math constantly, and finally want to take the plunge, probably a 2BHK in Sector 80. Builders like Dreamhome Infrastructure seem to have these 'spot discounts' or 'limited-time offers'. Honestly, are these just marketing gimmicks? Is it possible to actually negotiate a significant amount off the listed price, say for a 2BHK around ₹1.5 Cr? Or do they just recover it with PLC or other hidden charges at possession? And who's better for getting a real discount – going direct to the builder or through a broker? Sometimes I feel like brokers just push whatever gives them higher commission... Change my mind.
