Gurgaon property brochures are a total bait and switch
Gurgaon property search is getting really frustrating. My kids have moved out, so I'm selling our big house and just want a compact 2BHK somewhere nice, maybe around Golf Course Extension ya Sohna Road. But yaar, yeh builders ka all-in cost calculation samajh hi nahi aata. They quote one price, then add so many things. Stamp duty, registration, PLC, parking, then maintenance deposits... matlab, it becomes 22-25% extra easily, isn't it? Aur yeh super area ka chakkar! 1500 sqft bolte hain, but carpet area toh barely 900-1000 sqft nikalta hai. It's like they're charging for air, and for a smaller place, every sqft counts. How do people budget for this? Is there any way to get a clear, honest picture of the *true* all-in cost upfront? Have others faced this with builders like DLF or Emaar? Honestly, it's making me rethink everything.
