Gurgaon property: Why is no one upfront about the full cost?

Is it just me, or does everyone glorify buying a home but conveniently forget to mention the actual budget beyond the property price? I'm looking at Ashiana projects in Sector 83 Gurgaon, and builder sales reps only talk about base price. Nobody mentions stamp duty, registration, interiors, GST, PLC. It feels like a massive hidden cost trap, na? My parents keep saying 'bas property le lo', but I'm honestly not sure if I'm even budgeting right. What's the real total cost I should be preparing for? Change my mind if I'm wrong, but yeh sab log hide kyun karte hain?
