posted on 9 MayGurugram infra delays actually create better buying opportunities.
DLF City Phase I – kids have moved out, so we're selling our big house and looking for a manageable 2BHK here. While researching, I noticed a pattern with Gurugram's infra projects like Dwarka Expressway and even Global City. Builders always promise 'imminent completion' to hike prices, but actual timelines often get pushed. My hack? Don't blindly trust builder timelines. Look for properties where prices haven't fully jumped yet because of these delays. Does anyone else feel these infra delays create a better investment window for patient buyers? Any areas still affordable near these upcoming corridors?

Hmm, I don't know yaar. This 'patient buyer' strategy sounds good on paper, but in reality, builder delays just mean more EMI payments from your rental home, or worse, paying both rent and EMI without possession. My brother booked a flat near SPR years ago, and he's still waiting. The 'investment window' just became a black hole for his savings. Be very, very careful.

Totally agree with you, bhai! I'm also a first-time buyer and this 'imminent completion' thing is a real headache. Every site visit, they show some fancy brochure and say possession is just around the corner, but then nothing moves for months. It feels like a trap. But where exactly do we find these 'yet-to-jump' properties? I'm so confused with all the options.
