₹3 crore from our old house sale – that's our budget for a new place in Gurugram. Kids have moved out, we don't need such a big place anymore, just something manageable with good society and an elevator. Proximity to hospital is key now. I'm looking at places, and honestly, the brochures promise so much. But what's the reality of construction quality after a year or two? Are cracks and seepage common even in premium projects? Even places like DLF Camellias, you hear stories. And those fancy clubhouses, are they actually used daily or just ghost facilities? Maintenance charges seem huge, but is the service value for money? Should I be worried about long-term issues?
