The whole "full power backup" promise in Gurugram projects is a total scam, honestly. I'm currently in a 2BHK in Sector 50, thinking of upgrading to a 3BHK or villa, maybe even Birla Arika. But I'm so frustrated with this power backup situation. Builders promise full flat backup but it's always just common areas or a few points. Is the huge price jump worth it if basic utilities aren't delivered? We already have a home loan to manage. What about water supply? Are others facing tanker dependency even in premium projects? How do you even deal with this?

Totally agree with the OP! Bhai, this power backup issue is real. My current society in Sector 67 also promised 100% backup but it's only for lights and fans. ACs toh bhool hi jao. And the maintenance charges they levy for this 'premium' service? Highway robbery!
Haan yaar, same experience. Builders ke brochures mein sab kuch perfect dikhta hai. But ground reality is something else. Do they even have a legal obligation to provide what they promise for power backup?
