Gurugram's 'premium amenities' are just a maintenance trap.
After pouring almost ₹1.5 Cr into an apartment at Aspiration, I'm seriously questioning if fancy amenities are even worth the premium. Everyone glorifies these 'world-class' clubhouses and security systems on paper, but nobody talks about the insane maintenance charges later. Is it just me, or do these societies become ghost facilities after a year, with half the amenities barely used? I'm fed up of renting and finally taking the plunge, but the EMI vs rent math only works if my investment actually holds value. For Aspiration or any other Gurugram project, how much does a good security setup really add to resale, versus just being an endless maintenance drain? And parking allocation? Is it ever fair or just a lottery nightmare that causes headaches for tenants? I'm trying to figure out if these 'premium' features are actual value drivers for an investor or just marketing fluff that inflates prices and then drains your wallet with high AMCs. Change my mind.
