Hidden charges after booking: My New Chandigarh shocker

₹65,000 extra for 'power backup installation' – this just popped up after booking my 2BHK in New Chandigarh. Yaar, fed up of renting, so finally taking the plunge. My EMI vs rent math was looking good, but yeh hidden charges... I thought all-in cost discussion ho gayi thi. Builder ne pehle bataya hi nahi. Is this normal for projects around PR7 or Mohali? I'm looking at places around ₹90 lakh, and these small charges really add up. Parking, PLC sab clear tha, but yeh toh naya hai.
