Just moved into my new 3BHK in Vasant Kunj last month, and honestly, the hidden charges from the builder almost gave me a heart attack. My 3Cr budget for a 3BHK suddenly felt tight with all the unexpected PLC and maintenance deposits. I went with Godrej, thinking they'd be straightforward. Now I'm wondering if I made the right choice. Did anyone else buying from DLF or Tata Housing in areas like Greater Kailash or Dwarka face similar shockers? Or with Birla Estate? I'm already seeing a tiny plaster crack near my balcony, which makes me question construction quality too. Customer support post-possession is a joke, they just don't pick up. Is this standard across the board or did I just get unlucky?

Bhai, you are not alone. I booked a 2BHK in Dwarka Mor last year, not even a big builder, but the story is the same. PLC, IFMS, club membership, power backup installation charges – they add up to lakhs! And then stamp duty and registration on top of that. It felt like a bait and switch
Totally relate yaar! Hidden charges are the worst. Builders just don't disclose everything upfront. Meri bhi haalat kharab ho gayi thi.
