Okay I'll be honest — I completely underestimated how confusing this process is. Kids have moved out, so we're selling our big house and looking for a smaller, manageable 2BHK in Gurgaon. Everyone glorifies the base price, but no one talks about the absolute robbery that are 'hidden charges' at possession. Stamp duty, registration, parking, PLC, these are known. But the 'club membership', 'IFMS', 'power backup installation' – these are surprise charges, not hidden! Builders like NRI Builders, even in Baharampur Naya, I hear stories. Why don't they disclose this upfront? It's a trap, plain and simple. Transparency naam ki cheez nahi hai. Change my mind. Or tell me, how do you even budget for these phantom costs?

Totally agree! It's like they have a secret menu of charges they only show you at the very end. Planning for a 2BHK near Airport Road and this scares me.
