Been renting in Delhi for 5 years, honestly fed up. Landlord raised rent again, so finally buying. I'm eyeing places in Vasant Kunj and Godrej Properties projects, maybe near Aram Bagh. Budget's 2.5-3 Cr for a 3BHK. Does negotiation actually work on new Delhi properties, or are prices pretty fixed? How much extra should I realistically budget for hidden costs like stamp duty, registration, and other charges? Don't want surprises. What's a good buffer?

Bhai, your situation sounds exactly like mine! Renting in Delhi is a nightmare. I'm also looking for a 3BHK, but my budget is slightly lower, around 2.2 Cr. Vasant Kunj is great but prices are soaring. For hidden charges, I heard it can go up to 10-12% of the property value, is that true?
