Moved into my 2BHK at a Prestige project near Malleswaram East last month, and wow, the 'final' cost was a shocker. When we signed, the base price seemed fine, around ₹1.3 Cr. But then came the possession time. Suddenly, there were charges for OC, society formation, internal common area upgrades, even a transformer contribution. These weren't clearly itemised earlier. My all-in ended up being almost 10-12% higher than what I mentally budgeted, excluding interiors. Did anyone else face this? How do you guys factor in these hidden costs when buying a new flat in Bangalore? It's like a whole other EMI. Just trying to figure out if this is normal or if I missed something big. Any tips for future buyers?

Totally relate! I thought only small builders pull these stunts. Prestige se toh expect nahi kiya tha. Which specific project near Malleswaram East are
OMG! This is my biggest fear right now. We are looking at a 3BHK in Akshayanagar and every time I think we've factored everything in, something new pops up. ₹1.3 Cr is already a huge amount, and then 10-12% extra? Bhai, ye toh poora budget hila dega.
