Budget finalised, loan pre-approved — now stuck on Thanisandra Road. I'm currently in a 2BHK and looking for a 3BHK or villa. But yaar, the final price jumps after booking are insane. Builder quotes one thing, then PLC, development charges, OC fees pop up. Is this normal there? Makes me question if the premium is even justified.

Bhai, you hit the nail on the head! This is exactly what happened to me last year when I was looking in Aavalahalli, just next to Thanisandra. They show you a brochure price, then suddenly BAM! Floor rise charges, car parking, club house membership, maintenance advance for 2 years. It's like a never-ending list. My 80L budget for a 2BHK quickly became 95L. Really makes you wonder if these builders are transparent at all. Is this just a Thanisandra thing or common everywhere in Bangalore now?
