Hidden costs buyers only discover after possession
After 2.5 years of searching, I finally got possession of my flat in Noida Extension last month. My budget was around ₹80 lakh for a 2BHK, so I saw projects from Gaursons and Mahagun. Ultimately went with Mahagun, thinking unka track record sahi hai. But yaar, possession ke time itni hidden charges nikli, like IDC aur maintenance deposit, jo pehle kabhi discuss nahi hui thi. Itna frustration hua! And the amenities? Brochure mein swimming pool aur gym kaafi grand dikhaye the, but actual mein it's just okay, not what I expected. Construction quality bhi... kuch jagah plaster cracks dikh rahe hain already. I'm wondering if Godrej ya ATS mein bhi ye sab issues hote hain, ya they actually deliver better? Now, the post-possession maintenance charges are also quite high, not sure if this is normal for Greater Noida ya builders ka naya tareeka hai to recover costs. Anyone else recently moved into a project by Mahagun or Gaursons in Noida Extension? What was your experience with their handover and maintenance? Should I be worried about these cracks long-term?
