Hidden costs first-time buyers only discover after possession?
Visited a few projects last weekend in Whitefield and Sarjapur Road. Yaar, fed up of renting, landlord raised rent again, so finally taking the plunge. My budget is around ₹1.5 Cr for a 2/3 BHK. Dekh raha hoon Prestige, Sobha, Brigade, Godrej ke projects. Builders dikhate sab awesome hai site pe, but I'm really worried about hidden charges. Kya sach mein builder agreement mein sab clear hota hai ya baad mein surprise milta hai? Like PLC, EDC, maintenance deposits... logon ka experience kaisa raha hai in sab mein? Bahut log bolte hain ki possession ke time pe kaafi extra money maangte hain. Is it worth paying these big builders for peace of mind, ya unke bhi hidden costs hote hain? Also, construction quality ka bhi darr hai. Plaster cracks, seepage issues aate hain kya after possession? Especially from these names. Koi real life experience share kar sakta hai?
