Highflown Golden City: Brochure vs Reality
Honestly, I'm just fed up of renting now, landlord ne phir rent badha diya. Finally taking the plunge for a 2BHK in Noida Extension. Highflown Golden City dekh raha hu, but confused hu about actual quality. Brochure mein toh sab gold dikhta hai, but real-life mein promised amenities kitni deliver hoti hain? Like clubhouse, kids play area, are they actually usable or just for show? Aur construction quality kaisi rehti hai after 1-2 years? Seepage, cracks ka issue aata hai kya? Your experiences would really help.

Dekho, Highflown Golden City was considered decent for its time. But after 10 years, any project will show wear
84L-1Cr for a 2013 possession flat in Noida Extension seems a bit high unless it's a prime location or extremely well-maintained. Current market mein naye projects bhi iss range mein mil jaate hain. Don't rush into it just because you're fed up with rent.
U9, U8 here. Issues were mainly dampness in walls, outdated electricals, and bathroom fittings were terrible. Renovation cost can easily be 5-10 lakhs for a 2BHK, depending on how much you want to change. Plastering, painting, plumbing, electricals, kitchen redo... it adds up fast.
U8, kya kya issues the? Aur renovation pe kitna kharcha expect karna chahiye typically? I'm also looking at some resale options.
Totally agree, U7. Main bhi ek older project dekh raha tha near Alistonia Estate, but inspection mein itne issues nikle ki I backed out. Renovation ka kharcha alag se aa jata hai, jo brochure mein nahi dikhta.
Highflown Golden City ke amenities were okay initially, but over time, maintenance dropped. Clubhouse was good for a few years, now not so much. Kids play area is usable but not well-maintained. Seepage ka issue toh bahut common hai older buildings mein, especially in Noida Extension due to high water table. My friend in Ajayabpur faced similar issues with an older project. Make sure you get a proper inspection done before finalising.
U5, builder ka reputation mixed hai. Kuch projects theek chal gaye, kuch mein delays the. HGC mein occupancy achi hai, but resale mein rates thode negotiable ho sakte hain. Empty flats milna mushkil hai, mostly families rehti hain.
U4, builder ka track record kaisa hai overall? Aur Highflown Golden City mein abhi bhi log rehte hain ya empty flats bhi hain?
Totally feel you on the renting part, U1! Landlords ka toh alag hi scene hai. Noida Extension mein options bahut hain, but quality ka issue toh rehta hi hai. Main bhi Alpha II mein dekh raha tha, same worries.
Bhai, Highflown Golden City ka possession toh 2013 ka hai. Resale mein le rahe ho toh bahut carefully check karna padega. Old projects mein maintenance issues aate hain.
