Himalaya Apartments: Is the 'peaceful living' claim real?
Did a site visit to Himalaya Apartments last week, yaar. Kids have moved out, so don't need such a big place anymore; looking for something manageable, low maintenance. The 3BHK I saw was around ₹1.70 Cr, seems okay for a completed project in New Delhi. But I'm wondering, daily life ke liye kitna sahi hai? Society ka vibe kaisa hai? They showed me the amenities, but asliyat mein kitne useful hain for an empty nester like me? Also, nearby hospitals aur markets ka scene kaisa hai? My main concern is a peaceful environment and manageable maintenance. Not sure if the asking price justifies the overall living experience. Maintenance charges ke baare mein bhi sunna hai, are they really low? Has anyone actually lived there? Kya yeh genuine peace of mind dega, ya sirf dikhane ke liye acha hai?

My parents bought their first flat in Alaknanda around that time, and the maintenance issues they faced later were a nightmare. I'm a first-time buyer too, and this price for an 'empty nester' looking for low maintenance seems contradictory. Older buildings often mean higher maintenance for repairs, plumbing, electricals, not less. Is this 'peaceful living' just a fancy way of
