Hitech City IT parks: Real demand or just hype?
Hitech City keeps coming up every time I shortlist something. I'm currently in a 2BHK near Gachibowli, thinking of upgrading to a 3BHK or even a villa. My budget is around 1.8 Cr. Is the demand from these IT parks and SEZs truly driving prices, or is it more of a builder marketing thing? I've been trying to figure out if the job growth translates directly to property value. Like, how do you verify actual company occupancy in these new IT hubs? Or are builders like Prestige just using the 'IT Corridor' tag for anything nearby? Anyone seen projects where prices genuinely jumped due to new company setups, not just speculation? I'm not sure if the price jump is worth it if it's just hype.
