How much can you actually negotiate on total property cost?
Honestly, builders never give you the full picture on total cost upfront. I'm looking for a 2BHK in Raj Nagar Extension or Hindan Residential Area, maybe something from Aalayam Buildtech. My budget is around ₹70-80L. They quote a base price, but then suddenly there’s stamp duty, registration, PLC, parking, and then interiors. It just adds up so fast. I thought I had a handle on it, but then people mention OC charges or maintenance deposits appearing at possession. Is negotiation even possible on these? Like, if they say ₹75L for a 2BHK, can I realistically get them down to ₹70L on the total? Or is it just a few lakhs on the base price, and all the other charges are fixed? Ab samajh nahi aa raha how to get the actual all-in cost without surprises. Any experiences on what's genuinely negotiable in Ghaziabad?
