Hyderabad buyers — how do you handle builder's hidden costs?
₹1.8 Cr for a 3BHK in Kondapur, Salarpuria Sattva project. I work in real estate, but honestly, even I'm surprised by the hidden costs popping up now. Booking ke time they show one price, but near possession, they're adding utility connection charges, a huge maintenance deposit, and even a PLC for a specific floor. Matlab, all-in cost toh bilkul alag ho jaati hai. Mera budget ₹1.75 Cr tha, ab yeh ₹1.9 Cr tak jaa raha hai. Yeh super area vs carpet area ka game bhi alag hi hai, makes you question the actual per sqft rate. Has anyone else faced this with builders in Hyderabad? How do you guys deal with these sudden charges after booking? Should I have gotten every single potential charge in writing beforehand? Kitna extra expect karna chahiye overall for these things beyond the basic property price, stamp duty, and registration?
