Hyderabad investors: Utility experiences needed
Okay I'll be honest — I completely underestimated how confusing this process is. After years of renting, landlord raising rent again, I'm finally taking the plunge. Looking at places like Sattva Lake Ridge in Hyderabad. My main worry as an investor is tenant attraction and long-term costs. Brochure says 'full power backup' but is that ever really true for the whole flat, or just common areas? I've heard stories. Also, elevator quality. Are they putting in cheap ones that break down often? How's the maintenance response for elevators? I'm thinking about future tenants getting frustrated. Does good power backup and reliable elevators actually make a property more appealing to renters, enough to justify a premium or ensure consistent occupancy? Any experiences in Hyderabad with this?

Totally feel you on this! Main bhi first-time investor hoon aur Hyderabad mein hi dekh raha hoon. Sattva Lake Ridge ka brochure toh accha lagta hai, par power backup aur elevator wali baat sahi hai. Mere dost ka ek flat hai Begumpet mein, wahan power cut mein generator sirf common areas ke liye chalta hai. Tenants ko kaun samjhaega ye sab? Tension ho rahi hai.
Exactly! Begumpet mein bhi yahi haal hai, boss. Sirf common area backup is a big NO
