Hyderabad property buyers: what were your hidden costs?

Uppal keeps coming up every time I shortlist something. Salarpuria Sattva ka project dekha, par honestly, total cost ka idea hi nahi tha. Builder ne jo price quote kiya, usse toh bahut zyada ho raha hai. Stamp duty, registration, legal fees, OC... itna sab add hoke EMI badh gayi meri. Parents kept saying budget for extras, but I had no idea it'd be this much. Is this a builder strategy, ya main hi galat calculate kar raha tha? How do you guys manage these unexpected costs?
