Since last Diwali I've been seriously looking at flats in Chandigarh, and everyone keeps pushing me towards the 'Investment Hotspots' corridor. My budget is around ₹70-75L for a 2BHK. But honestly, wahan actual living experience kaisi hai? Commute ka kya haal hai, especially office hours mein? Brochures mein toh sab mast lagta hai, but I'm worried about the ground reality. Kya wahan facilities hain, ya abhi bhi development chal raha hai? Parents toh bolte hain future bright hai, but I need practical advice.

Please be very careful with these 'investment hotspots'. Most builders are just buying up agricultural land and selling dreams. My cousin invested in a project by The Uppal Group near Saini Majra a few years back, and till date, there's zero development on the ground. They have zero completed projects, which is a huge red flag. ₹70-75L is a big amount, don't just go by 'future potential'. Check the RERA status, actual progress, and builder's track record thoroughly. Ground reality can be very different from what sales reps tell you.
Absolutely, U3 and U7 are
Haan bhai, they've been notorious for delays and non-delivery. My friend got stuck with them in another city too. Better to stick with established builders, even if they are slightly more expensive. ₹75L is a lot to risk on an unknown entity, especially with 0 completed projects.
Oh no, Uppal Group ka track record itna kharab hai? I was considering one of their upcoming projects.
Bhai, exactly my thoughts! I'm also looking in the same budget for a 2BHK near Chandigarh, maybe New Chandigarh or Mullanpur. Brochures toh aise dikhate hain jaise sab kuch ready hai, but jab site visit pe jao toh sirf khet aur construction dikhti hai. Commute ka tension sabse zyada hai, office time mein pakka traffic jam hoga.
