Akurdi's community infrastructure, especially for families, feels like a big question mark to me. I'm currently in a 2BHK in Baner, thinking of upgrading to a 3BHK in Akurdi. Already have a home loan, so this is a big step. We're looking at places there but honestly, the schools and hospitals are my main concern. Are there enough good options for kids nearby, or do we end up commuting far for quality education? For medical emergencies, how reliable are the local hospitals? Or is everyone relying on bigger ones in Pimpri-Chinchwad? Just wondering if the premium for a larger space is worth the potential compromise on these essential services. What's the real ground situation for families there?

Totally get what you're saying, OP. We also looked at Akurdi for a 3BHK because of the space, but the school situation felt super confusing. My cousin lives there and sends his kids all the way to Nigdi for a decent school, which is a daily struggle. For hospitals, yes, smaller clinics are there, but for anything serious, it's always PCMC or even further. It's a huge trade-off, especially with kids' needs.
Haan bhai, exactly
