Is Duhai's monsoon waterlogging still a problem?
Is monsoon waterlogging in Duhai still a huge headache, or has the situation improved? I'm based in Dubai, seriously considering a 3BHK for investment in Duhai, maybe a Gulshan project. My local agent keeps saying everything's sorted, but older forum posts mention serious drainage problems during rains. I can't do a site inspection myself right now, which is frustrating. If roads get waterlogged, how badly does it affect daily life and tenant retention? I'm really worried about rental returns getting hit or needing constant property manager intervention. Also, what's the actual ground reality with civic cleanliness and garbage disposal? Any specific RWA issues or hidden maintenance costs in older projects I should watch out for? It's tough managing from so far away.

Bhai, agent log toh sab achha hi bolenge! Duhai mein waterlogging ka issue last year bhi tha, especially main roads par. Gulshan projects ki location dekhni padegi but generally, the whole area struggles. Mere ek dost ne wahan booking cancel ki thi sirf is problem ki wajah se. Property manager ko toh har monsoon mein emergency calls aayenge. Rental returns ka toh bhool jao jab tenants ko har baar paani mein se nikalna pade. Cleanliness bhi hit-or-miss hai, especially after heavy rains. You're right to be worried from Dubai.
