Okay, I'm honestly so confused with all the builder promises. Visited Happy Homes and the sales guy swore by full power backup. But my friend in another project says it's only common areas. What's the real scene with power backup in Delhi projects after possession? Also, how do you even check for construction quality issues like seepage during site visits?

Happy Homes ka price range ₹20-65L hai for 20 units. RERA na hone ka matlab hai ki builder ka accountability kam hai. Full power backup is a big red flag at this price point unless it's a super premium project (which this isn't, given the range). They usually mean

And check the basement too! Wahan se bhi shuru hota hai bahut baar. Builder chhupate hain aisi cheezein.
U4, seepage ke liye sabse best hai baarish ke baad visit karo. Ya builder se pucho recent heavy rain ke baad koi issue aaya tha kya. Also, check corners of walls, ceiling, aur bathroom ke paas ke walls for any dampness or fresh paint over it.

Haan bhai, they always say 'full backup' but it's always just lights and fans. AC toh bhool jao, uske liye alag se generator ka charge karte hain ya hota hi nahi hai.

They usually mean common areas, that too with daily limits. My cousin got burned in an Anand Vihar project similarly, they promised 24x7 but it was barely 2 hours for lights.
