Is 'full power backup' just marketing fluff in Bangalore?
Is 'full power backup' just a sales pitch in Bangalore? I'm finally taking the plunge after years of renting, landlord raised rent again, fed up. Looking at places like Meenakshi High Life Towers, they promise 24/7 power. But is that for everything, or just common areas and a couple of light points? My EMI vs rent math only works if the property is truly hassle-free for tenants down the line. I'm worried about attracting good tenants if the power is always fluctuating or if they can't even run their AC or fridge during outages. Does poor construction quality also impact the electricals, leading to frequent power issues even with backup? What's the real story with backup generator capacity and fuel costs for these big projects? Does it actually affect resale value or tenant retention?
