posted on 18 MayIs Krishna Kunj good for family social infra?
₹75 lakh for a 3BHK in Krishna Kunj looks okay, but family needs are priority. I'm checking Madhav Group and Galaxy Group projects. My main query is social infra. Kids ke liye good schools kitne close hain? Admission tough hai kya? Medical facilities ka kya scene hai? Emergency care ke liye hospitals, like Wockhardt ya Sterling, kitne accessible hain? Quality over quantity, from my experience. Any insights on education ya specialist availability near Krishna Kunj?

Krishna Kunj has potential, no doubt, but ₹75 lakh is a significant investment. My suggestion is to visit the area multiple times during different hours, especially peak traffic. Check out the actual commute to schools and hospitals. Also, always verify the builder's RERA status and past project delivery timelines. Current market thoda slow hai, toh negotiating power aapke paas ho sakti hai. Don't rush into it.
Bhai, school admissions ka kya scene hai? Donation maangte hain kya mostly good schools mein wahan?
U4, donations are unofficially a thing for some popular schools, but it's more about 'development fees' now, as U3 mentioned. You need to be ready for some extra costs beyond tuition. For Krishna Kunj specifically, there are a couple of newer schools coming up which might be easier to get into, but their reputation is still building. Old established schools will always be tough.
Galaxy Group se bachke rehna bhai! Mera ek friend hai, usne wahi Krishna Kunj ke paas ek project mein book kiya tha. Possession date 1.5 saal delay ho gayi thi, aur finish bhi utni khaas nahi thi. They had promised a lot of amenities jo baad mein deliver nahi hue. Schools ke liye, top ones like DPS are a bit far, and admission is super competitive. My neighbour tried for their kid last year and had to pay a huge 'development fee' which was basically a donation disguised. So be very careful with both builder and school research.
Totally agree with your point about school admissions. U4, school admissions ka scene tough hai for sure. Top schools like DPS ya Anand Niketan mein donation nahi toh links zaroor chahiye hote hain. Mere cousin ne last year try kiya tha, bahut bhaag-daud karni padi. Better to apply well in advance, ya fir smaller, good local schools check karo jo Krishna Kunj ke thoda paas hain. They might be newer but quality is often decent.
Uff, delays and hidden fees are the worst! Builder ne phir se date extend kar diya lol. It's always a nightmare for first-time buyers.
Same yaar, Galaxy Group ka ek project mere friend ne liya tha Rajkot mein, 1.5 saal delay hua. Builders ka track record dekhna bahut zaroori hai, especially in areas like Krishna Kunj jahan development abhi on-going hai. Legal checks karwa lena.
Krishna Kunj is definitely growing, no doubt. Madhav Group ke projects generally achhe hote hain, unka construction quality theek rehta hai. But Galaxy Group ka mixed bag hai, kuch projects achhe hain toh kuch mein issues bhi sune hain. Location-wise, it has potential for future appreciation.
₹75 lakh for a 3BHK in Krishna Kunj sounds okay initially, but I'm really concerned about the social infra for my family. Madhav Group and Galaxy Group projects hain wahan, but are they really worth it? My main query is kids ke liye good schools kitne close hain? Like DPS or Anand Niketan, are they easily accessible? Aur admission tough hai kya for newcomers? Also, medical facilities ka kya scene hai? Emergency care ke liye hospitals, like Wockhardt ya Sterling, kitne accessible hain? Quality over quantity, from my experience. Wockhardt ya Sterling ki accessibility sach mein itni achi hai kya wahan se? Any insights on education ya specialist availability near Krishna Kunj?
Sahi kaha, ₹75L for 3BHK is a bit high for Krishna Kunj, especially if social infra isn't top-notch yet. I think you can find better options in areas with more developed amenities for that price.
Haan bhai, Wockhardt aur Sterling dono 20-25 min drive hain max, depending on traffic. Par peak hours mein thoda time lag sakta hai, especially if you're coming from the inner parts of Krishna Kunj. Local clinics toh bahut hain, par specialist availability ke liye bade hospitals hi better hain. My advice would be to check the exact distance from the specific project you're looking at.
