My current 2BHK in Nana Mava feels too small now, especially with the kids. We're looking at upgrading to a 3BHK or small villa in Krishna Kunj. The price jump is significant, and I'm trying to justify it. What's the actual vibe like there? Is it peaceful, or are noisy neighbours and community issues common? More importantly, how safe is Krishna Kunj for families, especially at night? Any concerns about stray dogs or civic cleanliness? Would love real resident experiences.

Bhai, Krishna Kunj
Totally agree with the safety concern. My cousin lives there, says it's mostly peaceful but stray dogs are a common sight, especially early morning.
Honestly, safety is subjective. I visited a friend in Krishna Kunj last month, and while the main roads were well-lit, the internal lanes felt a bit deserted after 9 PM. Stray dogs are definitely an issue in some pockets, especially near the open plots. Civic cleanliness seemed okay in the gated communities but outside, not so much. Builders promise a lot but delivery is another story, so be careful.
My friend in Shivam Residency, Krishna Kunj, said their society has a dedicated dog squad for relocation. So, it depends on the society, jaise aapne pucha.
Stray dogs are a problem everywhere, not just Krishna Kunj. But I've heard some societies there have taken measures. Did your friend mention anything specific about their society?
Krishna Kunj, haan? Sounds tempting! I'm also a first-time buyer and the safety aspect is huge for me, especially with kids. Nana Mava se shift karna is a big step. Kya wahan pe maintenance charges bahut high hain? That's always a concern for me.
Haan, the maintenance can easily be 3-5k for a decent 3BHK apartment, even more for villas. Plus, security guards ka issue bhi rehta hai sometimes, especially in newer projects.
Maintenance charges are usually higher for villas, bhai. Prepare for that.
