Totally agree with the original post. NRI investment sounds good on paper, but the ground reality is different. My uncle almost got scammed trying to buy a plot near Kalawad Road last year. The builder was showing a different plot than what was in the papers. Remote verification is a huge headache, especially for title deeds.
