Honestly, I'm starting to think Panathur is completely overrated, especially around the ORR fringes. Everyone glorifies the new projects and connectivity, but nobody talks about the monsoon situation. Are people seriously living through knee-deep water every rainy season there? My parents keep saying it's a disaster waiting to happen for first-time buyers like me. How can a 2BHK at ₹1.2Cr be justified if you can't even get out of your complex for days due to waterlogging? It's not just bad traffic; it's actual flooding. Is this the hidden cost no one discusses until you've bought in? Change my mind.

Totally agree with the original post! My broker is pushing Panathur so hard, saying it's the next big thing, but after seeing those monsoon videos last year, I'm genuinely scared. Is it really that bad? My budget for a 2BHK is tight, around ₹1.1Cr, and I can't afford a property that's basically an island for three months a year. Are builders even doing anything about the drainage infrastructure there, or just building and running?
Bhai, it IS that bad
