Is anyone else finding the RWA charges in Sector 167 just ridiculous? We're looking at a 3BHK in a society there, kids have moved out so we need something manageable, but the maintenance quotes feel like a scam. It's almost ₹6000 for a small flat! What are they even maintaining? Heard about some builders like Gaursons or ATS having very high charges. Honestly not sure if it's worth it for the services they provide. Are these hidden costs just part of the deal now? What's your experience or what did you do about it?

We faced similar issues when buying in Alpha I Greater Noida a few years back. Initial quotes were low, but after possession, it shot up. Builders often lure you with lower figures. It's a common tactic, unfortunately. Always factor in a 20-30% increase post-possession.
Exactly! To answer U3, no, it's not just Sector 167. This high maintenance trend is across Noida and Greater Noida, especially in newer projects. Builders have realised this is a steady income stream. Current market conditions also allow them to get away with it because demand is still strong for good locations. U2, I asked for a breakdown, and it was just a generic list, nothing specific. They just
Totally agree with you! ₹6000 for a 3BHK in Sector 167 feels like daylight robbery. We saw a flat in Gaursons there, and the maintenance quote was insane. What exactly are they doing for that money? Mera toh budget hi hil gaya.
Sach mein! Is there any society with reasonable maintenance in that area? Sab jagah yahi haal hai kya?
Haan yaar, same pinch! We were looking at ATS Pristine in Sector 150 (close to 167, right?), and their maintenance was also sky-high. They claim it's for amenities, security, common area upkeep, but I doubt the actual spend justifies it. Plus, these builders often hand over to RWAs later, aur tab toh aur mess ho jaata hai. Did you ask for a detailed breakdown?
