Is Sector 63, Golf Course Ext Road, actually safe for kids? We're looking at a 3BHK there for our family. My wife is super worried about school admissions nearby and daily commute. Kya wahan ka resident life peaceful hai, ya bahut busy rehta hai? Also, maintenance charges ka kya scene hai?

Thank you for the insights, everyone! Meri wife ko schools ki bahut tension hai. Koi good school options hain kya nearby jo reasonable bhi ho? Aur Basai se commute kaisa rehta hai? Humara budget tight hai, toh maintenance charges ka bhi darr lag raha hai. Kya wahan koi family-friendly societies hain jahan kids ke liye play area aur security acchi ho?
U9, specific projects toh main name nahi karunga, but GCE mein general trend raha hai delays ka, especially for projects jo pre-covid launch hue the. Abhi market thoda stable
U4, Basai se commute morning rush mein tough ho sakta hai, even though distance kam hai. Traffic bahut badh gaya hai GCE pe. Best to check the route during school hours.
Humne bhi pehle Sector 63 mein dekha tha, but fir budget aur school admissions ki tension ki wajah se Badshahpur side shift ho gaye. Wahan thoda affordable mila aur schools bhi decent hain, thoda commute hai but manageable. GCE mein schools toh hain, but admissions bahut tough hain, especially for good ones. Plus, resident life abhi bhi under-developed lagti hai for families. Shaam ko kids ke liye bahar nikalne ka space thoda kam hai.
U6 aur U4, schools ke liye Pathways, Scottish High, DPS International, GD Goenka sab options hain around GCE. Lekin jaise U3 ne bola, competition bahut high hai. Aapko early applications aur interviews ke liye ready rehna hoga. Basai se commute bhi theek hai, but morning rush mein thoda time lag sakta hai.
Badshahpur is a good alternative, especially for budget-conscious buyers. Sector 63 mein ek advantage hai ki GD Goenka aur St. Xavier's jaise schools thode paas padte hain, but again, admission aur fees ka issue hai. Maintenance charges yahan high-end societies mein 5-7 Rs/sqft tak jaate hain, toh uska bhi budget rakhna padega.
U3, you hit the nail on the head! School admissions are a nightmare everywhere in Gurgaon, not just GCE. Humne bhi kitne schools mein try kiya, last mein kisi tarah ho paya. Parents ke liye ye stress bahut real hai.
Bhai, Sector 63 mein price points bahut high hain for what you get. Aur builder ka track record bhi dekhna padega. Golf Course Ext. Road pe bahut projects aise hain jahan possession mein delay hua hai aur amenities bhi promised nahi mili. Meri advice hai ki thorough due diligence karo, sirf location dekh ke mat jaao. Airport Road side bhi option dekh sakte ho, maybe better value for money mil jaye.
U8, U2, aap log kaunse projects ki baat kar rahe ho jismein dikkat aayi hai? Thoda specific bata sakte ho kya? Main bhi wahan dekh raha hoon aur ye sunke darr lag raha hai.
Totally agree U2. Builder delays toh common ho gaye hain GCE pe. Mera ek dost 5 saal se wait kar raha hai apne flat ka Sector 63 mein hi. Maintenance charges bhi baad mein sky-high kar dete hain. Be careful!
Hey OP, main bhi Sector 63 mein dekh raha hoon. Honestly, mujhe toh kaafi potential lag raha hai. Connectivity acchi ho rahi hai aur new developments aa rahe hain. Schools ka toh Gurugram mein har jagah competition hai, but yahan bhi kuch decent options hain. Resident life ke liye thoda wait karna padega, abhi toh under-construction societies zyada hain.
Exactly! Potential toh hai, but traffic ek concern ban sakta hai aage jaake, especially office hours mein. Par haan, schools ke options hain, thoda research karna padega. Meri ek colleague ka beta Pathways mein jata hai, woh kehti hai commute manage ho jata hai.
Sahi keh rahe ho U1! Mujhe bhi yahan ka vibe theek laga. Schools kaafi hain, but quality aur admission ka kya scene hai? Koi specific school ka pata hai kya jo Sector 63 ke families prefer karti hain?
