posted on 4 AprIs Sector 84 good for families with kids?
Honestly not sure about Sector 84. I'm looking to upgrade to a 3BHK, and my wife's priority is a safe environment for the children. Kids' school admission is also crucial. I saw some projects near Sector 84, but it seems more industrial. Is it actually safe for the children to play outside? What's the real deal with waterlogging during monsoon? I heard drainage is a problem in some areas. Also, how are the schools nearby? I need good schools within a reasonable distance. Anyone living there with kids? What's your experience? Need some real resident opinions before I consider it seriously. Not sure if I should look elsewhere.

Before you finalize, check the crime rate in the area. Noida police website should have some data.
Remember to factor in the cost of commuting to work. Sector 84 is quite far from Delhi.
Overall, Sector 84 is a developing area with potential, but it's not ideal for families with young children at this stage.
Rising property rates everywhere, bhai. Noida is getting expensive! It's a tough decision.
So, what did you decide? Are you still considering Sector 84?
I'd say Sector 84 is a decent option if you get a good deal and are willing to compromise on some aspects. But if you have higher budget, look at sectors closer to the expressway.
Personally, I wouldn't recommend it for families with young kids. Too many compromises. Look elsewhere. Sector 75 or 76 might be better.
Don't just rely on online opinions. Visit the sector yourself, talk to residents, and get a feel for the place.
I heard the metro extension to Sector 142 will improve connectivity to Sector 84. But it's still a few years away.
Check the maintenance charges. Some societies in Sector 84 have exorbitant maintenance fees.
Schools are okayish. There's a Ryan International nearby, but competition is tough. Admission can be a headache.
Don't forget to check the distance from the nearest hospital. Medical emergencies can happen anytime.
Possession status kya hai? Is the project nearing completion? Builder ne phir se date extend kar diya lol
Haan yaar, builders are notorious for delaying possession. Read the fine print carefully.
Possession mila kya kisi ko? I'm also waiting for my flat in Sector 79. It's been delayed for 2 years!
One thing I noticed is that the air quality in Sector 84 can be quite bad due to the industrial area. Something to consider if you have children with respiratory issues.
I bought in Sector 84 three years ago hoping for quick appreciation. Rates haven't moved much, and the infrastructure is still lagging. Regret not going for something closer to the metro line.
Which sector do you think is better for appreciation now? Sector 150 is too expensive. Any suggestions?
Sector 78 is decent. Metro connectivity and good schools nearby. But prices have gone up recently.
U9, which project did you invest in? Just curious. I'm also looking for investment options.
My friend lives in Sector 84. He says the biggest issue is the lack of proper street lighting. Makes it feel unsafe at night.
That's a valid point. Street lighting is essential for safety, especially for families with kids.
Yes, Noida authority needs to address this. We pay so much in taxes, but basic amenities are missing.
I live in Sector 82, which is adjacent. Waterlogging is a real problem during heavy rains. My kids are in Amity School, which is quite a drive. But otherwise, it's peaceful and relatively green. Depends on what you prioritize.
Which project are you considering? Some have better drainage systems than others. Check the builder's reputation very carefully. Delayed projects are a HUGE problem in Noida.
Exactly! Builder ka track record dekho. RERA registration check karo. Don't just fall for the marketing hype.
Haan, name batao. We can probably give you specific feedback. Some builders are notorious for false promises.
RERA registration is a must! And check the completion certificate for other projects by the same builder. It's a good indicator.
Also, visit the site during the monsoon if possible. See the waterlogging situation for yourself. Don't rely on what the builder tells you.
Sector 84, hmmm... Honestly, it's a mixed bag. Safe toh hai relatively, but 'play outside' safe depends on the specific society. Waterlogging is definitely an issue in some pockets, especially near the nallahs. Schools are decent, but not top-tier like DPS or Pathways. Which project are you looking at? That makes a big difference.
Bhai, I agree with U1. Sector 84 is still developing. Infrastructure isn't fully there yet. If school is a BIG priority, maybe look at sectors closer to Delhi like 50, 51. Easier commute.
