Sarjapur Road 3BHKs feel like a total money pit sometimes. I'm currently in a 2BHK near Electronic City, already have a home loan, and thinking of upgrading. Everyone glorifies the 3BHK for "future family growth" but honestly, for pure ROI and rental yield, isn't a well-located 2BHK in a place like Bellandur actually smarter? That ₹80 lakh price jump for an extra room just doesn't add up to me. Disagree? Tell me why.

But isn't a 3BHK always better for resale? My broker keeps saying that 2BHKs will be hard to sell in 5-7 years, especially in growth corridors. He says families will always prefer more space. What's the general sentiment here?
Resale is a good point, but for us first-time upgraders, that
Totally feel you, yaar. Sarjapur Road has become so inflated. I'm also looking to upgrade from a 2BHK in HSR and the 3BHK prices are just making my head spin. For the kind of EMI that comes with it, I'd rather invest that extra amount somewhere else. It feels like a status symbol more than a necessity sometimes.
