Just got possession, some things genuinely surprised me

Did anyone else get hit with crazy unexpected charges right before possession? I moved into my Prestige Group 2BHK near Richmond Circle a couple months back. Khareedne time, sab kuch clear laga tha. But possession ke time, builder ne 'utility connection charges', 'clubhouse membership lifetime fees', aur 'IFMS' bolke ₹3-4 lakhs extra maang liye. Brochure mein toh ye sab either mention nahi tha ya bahut small print mein tha. Matlab, total cost jo discuss kiya tha, woh bilkul different nikla. Is this normal for Bangalore projects? Especially from big builders like Prestige? How do people factor these into their budget? Yaar, yeh toh bilkul dhokha jaisa lagta hai. What did you guys do to avoid these last-minute surprises?
