Just moved into Ansal Aastha — maintenance is a shock

Is anyone else at Ansal Aastha Mig Zone in Rajkot feeling ripped off by maintenance charges? We moved here after selling our big house, kids have moved out, just wanted something manageable with good facilities. But the monthly bill is so high, and for what? The elevator breaks down weekly, common areas aren't cleaned properly, and the 'clubhouse' gym equipment is mostly broken. Honestly, it feels like we're paying for amenities that aren't maintained at all. My wife and I are pre-retirees, can't handle these sudden repair costs. Is this common in other Rajkot societies too, or just us? What did you do?
