Kalka Apartment mein 2BHK dekhne gaya tha, aur honestly, amenities kaafi average lagi. Pool aur gym toh dikha diye but will they be maintained well? My parents keep saying ki society ka vibe check karo, but I couldn't get a proper feel. Neighbourhood mein schools aur daily convenience ke liye markets kaise hain? Not sure agar yeh ₹60L mein genuinely acha home banega ya sirf price point acha hai. Koi resident hai yahan? Daily life experience kaisa hai?

Dekho, ₹60L for a ready-to-move 2BHK in Delhi isn't terrible, especially if it's a decent size. But the "average amenities" part is concerning. Has anyone lived in the Alaknanda area and can compare the general vibe and maintenance there versus Kalka?
@U5, Alaknanda is definitely more established, but also older. Kalka is newer, so it has that going for it. The vibe check for Kalka
Maintenance is a huge red flag for older projects. Builders just show off amenities, then forget about them.
@U1 and @U2, I think Kalka has its pros too. The location is actually pretty good, especially if you work towards South Delhi. Proximity to hospitals and some decent schools nearby is a plus. Maintenance *can* be an issue anywhere, but I heard the RWA is active. What about the build quality? Kisi ne construction details check kiye hain?
RWA active hai, that's a good sign! Half the battle won there.
@U3, build quality is decent, not premium. My brother-in-law's friend bought a 3BHK there. He said no major structural issues, but finishings are average, like U1 mentioned about amenities.
Totally relate, U1! I also visited Kalka last month. Amenities felt very basic for the price. ₹60L for an average 2BHK, that too with a 2020 possession date, sounds a bit high now. Kya current market mein better options nahi mil sakte?
U2, I disagree a bit. While ₹60L is a chunk, Kalka's actual price range is ₹45L-₹75L, so ₹60L is mid-range. And given it's already possessed (2020), you save on rent while waiting. Plus, the current market in Delhi is seeing a slight uptick, so ready-to-move properties often command a premium over under-construction ones. It's a trade-off.
Exactly, U2! Current market mein prices thode stable hue hain, you can negotiate. For a 2020 project, ₹60L might be pushing it, especially if amenities are just okay. Builder ko pressure daalo thoda.

Same questions! ₹60L is a big amount, can't just jump in without knowing these details.
Haan bhai, I know exactly what you mean by 'vibe check'. I visited a project near Anand Vihar and felt the same. For daily needs, there's usually a local market nearby but schools need proper research. Maintenance is key! Daily life experience is tough to gauge from one visit.
