posted on 10 MayKammavari Pete prices: Are we all just buying into the hype?
Since January I've been shortlisting flats in this city, and Kammavari Pete keeps coming up. Honestly, everyone's pushing it for "future growth," but are the prices even justified? I saw a 2BHK there for ₹1.3 Cr, which feels insane. It's a daily nightmare getting anywhere with that traffic, forget smooth drives. People glorify its connectivity, but what's real resident life like with all that chaos? Is this place truly worth the premium or just hype? Change my mind.

I actually booked a 3BHK in Akshayanagar two years ago for ₹90L, thinking Kammavari Pete was too far and overpriced even then. Now my property value has gone up significantly, but I still see people struggling with connectivity near Kammavari Pete during peak hours. My friend who lives there says the metro work is still ages away. So, I'm with you, the premium seems unjustified unless you work literally next door.
See, this is the dilemma. Builders always promise future infra. Jaise aapne bataya, I visited a
That's a solid point, Akshayanagar is definitely a better bet for value right now. But what about the proposed infrastructure like the peripheral ring road? Won't that change things for Kammavari Pete in say, 5-7 years?
Totally agree, bhai! I saw similar prices in Kammavari Pete and just backed off. The traffic is a nightmare for sure, especially towards the main road during peak hours. It's a huge deterrent.
Exactly! My budget is max ₹1 Cr, so Kammavari Pete is out anyway. Too much hype surrounding it right now.
Haan, same here. My agent was pushing it hard, saying 'future development' but ₹1.3 Cr for a 2BHK feels like a stretch for a first-time buyer like me. Is it really worth locking up so much money for a place with current traffic issues, hoping future infra will fix it?
